Breton Rescue Balm
Soothe • Protect • Recover
Animals have a remarkable talent for finding the one fence, branch, gate or mystery object they really shouldn't have — which is exactly where Breton Rescue Balm comes in.
Created as a gentle botanical balm for life's everyday knocks and mishaps, Rescue Balm is designed to soothe, condition and protect skin following minor scrapes, grazes and rubs.
Its simple formula combines three traditionally valued botanical infusions — Calendula, Plantain and Chamomile — with nourishing natural oils and Beeswax to provide gentle skin support without unnecessary fragrance or essential oils.
What's Inside
Calendula-infused oil — traditionally used in botanical skincare for soothing and conditioning delicate or stressed skin.
Plantain-infused oil — a traditional herbal preparation used for supporting and soothing minor skin irritation.
Chamomile-infused oil — gentle and calming, making it particularly suited to sensitive or stressed skin.
These are combined with Grapeseed Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Beeswax and Vitamin E to create a soft, easily applied balm.
When to Reach for Rescue
Breton Rescue Balm is ideal to have on hand for those minor superficial skin mishaps that are simply part of life with animals — small grazes, scrapes and rubs where the skin needs a little extra botanical care.
It makes a handy addition to the tack room, grooming kit, float, dog bag or animal first-aid cupboard.
How to Use
Clean the affected area first and gently apply a small amount of Rescue Balm as required.
For external animal use only and intended for minor superficial skin care. Avoid the eyes and mucous membranes. More significant wounds, punctures, bites, infection or injuries requiring veterinary attention shouldn't be covered up with balm — those need appropriate veterinary care.
Why We Created Rescue Balm
Breton Rescue Balm grew from something I wanted in my own kit: a simple, natural product I could reach for when an animal had one of those everyday little mishaps.
Rather than filling it with a long list of ingredients, I wanted the botanicals themselves to do the talking.
Calendula. Plantain. Chamomile.
Three beautiful traditional herbs, carefully infused into oils and brought together in a balm that's practical enough for the tack room but gentle enough to earn a permanent place in the animal-care cupboard.
Simple ingredients. Purposeful botanicals. Made for the little mishaps that come with loving animals.
